We built our home with Ovation homes about 3 years ago. We had looked around numerous areas and builders before we looked at Ovation Homes and met Teresa Greene.
We had built 3 homes previously and had decided to buy a second hand home as all our experiences of building had been horrendous and stressful. But the market prices were almost the same for new as they were for second hand, and the homes mostly needed a lot of renovation. So we looked around some builders.
After looking at several builders and not really liking the attitude, lies, or knowledge of the sales reps, or reputation some of the builders had in the area we were about to give up and look elsewhere and then we found Ovation.
Ovation Homes were a breath of fresh air. Teresa was knowledgeable, friendly and personable. Nothing was ever too much trouble and she was always happy to see you and had a smile on her face. The planning, build and details were simple and stress free.
As time went on we met Jake, Curtis and Gina the owners of Ovation Homes and again what a great, friendly and knowledgeable group of people they all turned out to be. They are all down to earth, friendly, realistic and fun to be around.
I now regard this entire team as friends, and would build again with them without hesitation. The house has been amazing, we love where we live and based on past experiences this build didn’t feel like a chore, it was a fun and enlightening experience. Even the contractors they use are all great and friendly.
This is the kind of experience all builders should bring to people. The personal touch that Ovation Homes offers to people, doesn’t cost anything but it makes you feel listened to and appreciated as a customer.
Post build we have only has a couple of issues which were sorted quickly. On one occasion the furnace stopped working in winter and my husband was discharged from hospital. Jake was straight there with a team to fix the furnace and get heat in the home for my husband to come back to.
How many builders do you know would do that???

Our family is roughly 1 year into our new single family home and are extremely happy with our choice of Ovation Homes as our builder. From the onset their team delivered excellent customer service. Through each step of design and building process we felt like we had a partner in the Ovation team. They were (and continue to be) easy to get a hold of and responsive to our requests. It is crucial to have a developer and home builder clearly explain what you can do and what you cannot do, what are your rights and what are not your rights (e.g., what is public, what is private). Teresa clearly elaborated all the regulations and policies with us.
Unlike many developers and home builders, Ovation Homes offered great options and flexibility to buyers. We are very glad to have many options without adding a lot on our budget.
The site is very closed to UBC, the Kelowna International Airport, the Aberdeen Hall. Wonderful valley view and major stores are in 10-15 minutes driving distance. It is one of the few ideal sites in Kelowna for young families and young professionals.
